Looking for a job is one of the hardest thing to do during this crisis. And the job interview is the most jittery part of the process that's why we do a lot of preparations for it to impress and prove them that we are the ones they were looking for. Learning something new and unusual is fun and exciting, so I compile some trivia's I have learned in school (which is my favorite) to share with you that can add to your knowledge!

• If the doctor says you have Bilateral Periorbital Hematoma, it means you have Black Eye.

• Singultus is the medical term for hiccups.

• If you have Open Comedones in your face, you have blackheads or if you have Close Comedones, you have whiteheads.

• In case you feel an intense fear of becoming fat and you starve yourself, you maybe suffering of a psychiatric illness called Anorexia Nervosa.
  

My Layout is Still Under Renovation!

Maybe you have noticed that I seldom update my blog and I keep on changing my layout. I'm sorry. Well, I've been busy for this past few days. I have been addicted in studying this photo editing and html coding and it really hooked me. It's so fun! Anyway, I am still thinking about what design I will make for my layout because I want it to be something nice, clean, attractive and of course, unique. I already made 3 layouts but I'm still not satisfied with them. I am sharing those layouts I made so if you want it you can use it. Listen, Watch and Laugh

Me and my boyfriend was debating about who's artist made the best cover of the song Listen of Beyonce Knowles. Is it Sarah Geronimo? Regine Velasquez? Charice Pempengco? Nina? Kyla? Sheryn Regis? Jonalyn Viray? Maricris Garcia? or Sugarpop? (I linked their names to their respective Youtube videos.) So we watched their videos of their own versions of Listen in Youtube. Yeah, they're Good. But no one matched our criteria. Why? Because we have big expectations. We want something that will make our hair stand on end! Tsk tsk tsk.

Until...

We saw this video of a little girl singing Listen. Yeah! This is it! We've found it! The best cover of Listen ever made! Woohoo! A complete entertainment, all in one! Bwahahahahaha! Exaggerated?!? Nah! Because this girl is really fantastic! She is a multitalented girl with a complete package of a real star! She has a powerful singing voice, a sexy gestures with a perfect expression of facial emotions that you will absolutely be carried away. But what I really like about her is that she has a great sense of humor. LOL. Watch the full video and be entertained. Ooops! And don't forget to focus and then pause in between 2:52 - 2:53, that's the climax! Hehehe. Enjoy!

Blogspot or Wordpress or Something Else?

Since I cannot think of anything to update my blogs, I just made myself busy by blog hopping. I saw a lot of beautiful layouts! So cute, so artistic and so attractive! And I feel so envious thinking, "I want my blog to become something like that." So I checked their credits etc. and found out that it was all powered by Wordpress?!? Darn! I searched the internet and learned that Wordpress has more features than Blogspot like static pages, read more feature, etc. that is not available to blogspot. I am just thinking, what if I move my blog in Wordpress? Is that a good idea? Hmmm. Any suggestions? Which one do you think is better? Blogspot? or Wordpress? Or something else? I made an account in Wordpress by chance I make up my mind moving there. Hehehe. Anyway, please join my polls and help me decide what to do! By the way, thanks MARLON for helping me out yesterday! My Birthday Wish List!

The love month has ended and the kiss of summer is just around the corner. It's March! And it's my birthday month! And in less than a month, I’ll be 21. Aww! And to give you a heads up of how expensive it is to be my friend, here is my wish list.

• iPhone - A gadget which has an iPod Touch, cellphone, and camera in one is absolutely a must have for a music/picture lover like me!

• Nikon F6 - For a girl like me, who once dreamt of becoming a professional photographer and wants to captivate every special moment of my life, this top-of-the-line professional camera is what I always dream to possess.

• Handy Camcorder - any camcorder will do. Just want to have one.

• Mini Laptop - Because I'm not satisfied with just a computer desktop alone. I want to have a computer which I can bring wherever I want to go.

• Gretsch Drumset with Sabian Cymbals and Anti Vibe Zildjian Sticks. – This is what every drummers dream. To have a perfect pitched drum set.
  

• Speaker and Component AV adopter - for my iPod Video Classic.

• A Shopping Spree Experience – I have never been experienced a shopping where you spend thousands of money in just a day. I want to buy branded clothes, bags, shoes, sandals and a lot lot more!
  

• A Total Fashion and Beauty Make Over - I want to rebond my hair, have facial and pimple treatment, put back on my braces which was dismantled last year, go to the salon for my nails, eyebrow and everything and anything that will make me feel and look beautiful.

• This - I have no clue as to what this is, but I want it.

There you have it! So if you really want to make my birthday an unforgettable one, give me some moolahs for shopping or at least get me a Nikon F6. Is that too much to ask? Hahahaha! Anyway, my birthday is on March 30.

Make Someone Nosebleed Again!

Did you enjoyed the article I posted last January entitled "Make someone nosebleed"? Did you learned something from it? Or have you made someone nosebleed by using those terms? Well, if you answered YES, then here are some more medical terms that you can use to make someone nosebleed again!

• Cutis Anserina or Piloerection - goose bumps

Situation: It's Halloween! You and your friends are talking about ghost and you feel goose bumps because of terror.
What to say: "Nyay! I'm scared! I feel Cutis Anserina all over my body."

• Diplopia - impairment of the vision which results in a single object appearing as double objects

Situation: You're drunk and the objects around you appears to be double because of so much alcohol intake.
What to say: "Pare! I feel very drunk! I have Diplopia already!"

• Strabismus or Tropia - crossed-eyes

Situation: You have an annoying "feeling pogi" neighbor who never remove his shades and you want to exasperate him.
What to say: "Dude! What are you hiding behind those shades and you don't want to remove them? Do you have Strabismus? Hahahahaha!

• Flatulence - fart / farting

Situation: You're in the elevator and you feel ashamed because you just farted very loud. Now everybody is looking at you.
What to say: "What are you looking at? Is it your first time to hear a "Flatulence?"

• Stertor - snoring

Situation: You're very annoyed of your new husband's loud snore.
What to say: "Honey! Please?!? I cannot sleep! Your Stertor is very loud!"

• Sternutation - sneezing

Situation: You are in your ongoing class and the ambiance is very quiet but you suddenly sneezed very loud that destructed the whole class.
What to say: "Oops! Sorry about that Sternutation."

• Eructation - burp / burping / belch

Situation: You are in a five star restaurant and you burped so loud.
What to say: "Oops! Excuse me for that loud Eructation."

• Bromhidrosis, Osmidrosis or Ozochrotia - body odor

Situation: You texted your boyfriend that you want to break up with him. The reason is, you're turned off because he has so much body odor and you just can't take it anymore. Then he asked you why you want to split up.
What to say: "I just can't take your Osmidrosis anymore so just leave me alone."

• Tinea Pedis - athlete's foot

Situation: You need to remove your shoes in your P.E. class but you're ashamed that your classmates might smell your athletes foot.
What to say: "Sorry but I don't want to remove my shoes. I have a Tinea Pedis."

Hahahaha! Isn't that cool?!? So come on! Show off your friends! Use these terms to make someone nose bleed all over again! Enjoy!

While browsing some videos in Youtube yesterday, one title has really caught my attention...

Whoa!?

I am one of those silly girls who has gone crazy and has been addicted to the story and the cast of Titanic! And believe it or not, I have watched it for almost a hundred times. I swear! So when I saw it, I was really shocked and excited as well.

Out of my curiosity, i clicked and watched the video. And I was so amazed on how the story goes. According to the trailer, after almost a hundred years since Titanic sank and Jack died, the researchers have found the body of Jack Dawson under the ocean and he was covered with ice. And because of the high technology, they made him alive again! Wow! A fictional Titanic this time? Hmmm..

But sad to say, I found out that it was only made by an avid fan of Titanic and It's not really coming out of theaters. Haayyss. So sad. But still, I am really impressed of the video and to the person who made it because it seems to be really true! And if that would pursue, it would be a very big hit for sure! Right? Tsktsk.

Here's a trivia!

Don't you know that it's our Hypothalamus fault whenever you feel you're in love? Because Hypothalamus, a portion of the brain, is the one which is responsible in organizing and controlling many complex emotions, feelings and moods, as well as all motivational states including hunger, appetite and food intake, and everything to do with the concept of pleasure including satisfaction, comfort and creative activities and even our heart rate and sleep cycles. So when you're in love or got hurt, a lot of body mechanisms are affected. You can't eat and sleep, you may feel mixed emotions, your heart beats faster or slower. So it's not our heart's fault but it's our brain's! That's why when you love someone, better say "I love you from the bottom of my hypothalamus!" than "I love you from the bottom of my heart." And this is the reason why I believe in the saying --If you love, you must use your mind over heart.

How To Be a Drummer?

Percussion is one of the most popular instruments in the world. Playing with it can be very fun, cool and impressive. Like any other instruments, the drums are hard to learn. It is not as easy as it seems, as there is more to the drums than just hitting something with a stick. If you’re just starting out and have never played before, learning to play drums is very frustrating. That's why, most newbies begin to play and then soon quit. It's true that some people could easily cope up with the drumming skills faster than the others but it is definitely no reason to quit! If you get disappointed or discouraged because you can't play them very well, don't give up! With time, practice, and experience you'll get better. Then you can show off to your friends.

Here are some tips what you need to do to become a good drummer as you wanted to be!

• Be Patient

If you're an impatient kind of person, then drumming is not for you because learning to play drums needs perseverance. It takes time to develop drum skills. Since it’s a combination of
coordination and timing, it will not come natural to you. That’s why you must develop it. Yes it is frustrating but try to keep your cool. It will come with more practice.

• Can't afford to buy a drum set? That's not a problem!

If you can't afford to buy a drum set, it doesn't mean you don't have the rights to learn to play drums! You only need is your hands and your imagination. Listen to your favorite song and then try to go along with it's drumbeat. Imagine your left hand is for the snare, your right hand is for the cymbals, and your right foot is for the bass. Of course you need to be familiar with what it's sound so you know when to use which hands. In this way, you will be practicing your hands and feet coordination. Then when your hands and feet had been familiar with it, try to rent a one hour drum practice in band studios near you so you can apply it for real.

• Practice, practice and practice

It isn’t realistic to expect perfection overnight. That's why you need to practice, practice and practice. Devote some time to practicing a simple beat. It may seem boring, but you have to stick to it. Play the same simple beat for several hours straight until you get the hang of it. And then eventually, you will find yourself improving and that will keeping you inspired!

• Watch Videos

Surely, you will learn a lot from watching videos in Youtube or in other tutorial site and it's for free! I suggest to watch videos of Mike Jhonston and Thomas Lang because they are really are the finest drummer in our times and not just a drummer but absolutely a good drum teacher. If you want to learn a song, then there are some good people who post their drum covers in Youtube and you can obtain some techniques from them.

• Do Not Compare Yourself

For some reasons, drummers will always compare their own weaknesses with another drummer’s strengths. There is really no way to feel good about yourself if you do that. Your style of drumming is your own, and you must develop it the best you can. You don’t need to drum like anyone else. Be your own best friend and realize you have something special the world needs to hear.

• Keep Your Passion Stirred Up!

Just as what I always say, never never give up! Don't let anything or anybody drag you down. If you dream to become "the best drummer", then it will surely become a reality only if you will dedicate yourself on it and never loose hope.
